Downtown Rockville FC: U11 Boys MSI Classic League Soccer: Code of Conduct

As members of the Downtown Rockville MSI Classic League Soccer team, we commit to the following values that help build a positive, respectful, and supportive environment for everyone:

1. Respect for Others

   - Treat all teammates, coaches, referees, and opponents with respect and kindness.

   - Listen when others are speaking and show appreciation for everyone's ideas and contributions.

   - Celebrate each other’s successes and encourage one another when challenges arise.

2. Teamwork and Support

   - Always support and help your teammates, both on and off the field.

   - Work together to improve as a team, understanding that every player brings something special.

   - Share the ball and play for the team, not just for yourself. Success is about teamwork!

3. Effort and Improvement

   - Give your best effort at all times, whether in practice or in games.

   - Be open to learning new skills, and always try your hardest to improve.

   - Mistakes are part of learning—don’t be afraid to make them and learn from them!

4. Positive Attitude

   - Stay positive, even when things don’t go as planned. A good attitude can turn challenges into opportunities to grow.

   - Be proud of your progress and the progress of your teammates.

5. No Bullying or Meanness

   - Bullying, teasing, or any form of meanness will not be tolerated.

   - Treat everyone with kindness, both on and off the field. If you see someone being treated poorly, speak up or tell a coach.

   - Respect differences and appreciate the unique qualities of each player.

6. Sportsmanship

   - Play fair and follow the rules of the game, showing good sportsmanship at all times.

   - Win with humility and lose with grace. Both are opportunities to grow.

   - Shake hands with your opponents after every game and thank them for playing.

7. Responsibility and Accountability

   - Take responsibility for your actions, both on and off the field.

   - Be accountable for being on time, prepared, and ready to contribute to the team’s success.

   - If something goes wrong, own up to it, learn from it, and move forward.

By following this Code of Conduct, we will create a positive, supportive, and fun environment where everyone can grow as a player and as a person. Let's make soccer an experience we all enjoy and remember!
